The Medicine Buddha, also known as Bhaisajyaguru or Yakushi, is a divinity in Buddhism who is said to heal both physical and mental suffering. He is often depicted holding a medicine jar and is said to treat sentient beings' ailments by administering medicine based on their needs. The Medicine Buddha is also said to protect people from disease, grant mental clarity, and purify negative karma.
